I have, in the past, been invited to the annual Cosmo Bachelor Bash. And for some reason or another, I have always, ALWAYS been unable to go. This year, all the stars aligned. I received VIP tickets, was completely available and had a new camera to debut before I abused it in earnest on my trip to Vancouver (yes dear readers, I am flying to Vancouver in two days!). Clearly, it was meant to be!

When the first shirt came off napamura ako – “P*t@ng In@ng abs yan!”.
Jake Cuenca (who is completely unknown to me and is apparently famous — who knew?) drove the ladies wild and no mincing words, he was steamy. He strutted overly much and was a little too cocky for my taste though. (Jake Cuenca fans, don’t kill me!)
When the Brazilian Japanese models came out to play, I started squealing with the rest of them. Daniel Matsunaga and Fabio Ide, together? Come on!
Then they started playing the teaser video for the centerfolds. The camera strayed teasingly over a pair of familiar washboard abs, without showing the face. I grabbed my friend’s arm and said “Oh my God, it’s Hideo!” She turned to me in disbelief “Wha–?” Then I saw the barest glimpse of a tattoo, “I knew it! It’s Hideo! I’d recognize those abs anywhere!”
True enough, Hideo Muraoka, came out to crazed female pandemonium, to which I may have *slightly* contributed.
Now, lest you begin to speculate madly what bizarre circumstances might have lent me the dubious skill of split-second abs recognition, I assure you people, it’s really quite simple. Hideo is my sometime capoiera classmate. Capoiera is hard, hot, frenetic, exhausting. And after an intense workout, when the universe is feeling particularly gracious, Hideo’s shirt comes off.
Gorgeous. And NICE too!
Of course, there were NUMEROUS other men there and I focus only on Hideo because well — I like the guy. He’s just so, well, NICE.
Where was I? Oh yes. The other men. Feast your eyes.
And I think I’ll end there. Because really, what could possibly top that?
(Forgive the less than stellar photos. I bought a Lumix LX5 which is the best quality bobo-proof point and shoot I could get but I am SUCH an amateur.)
